Wet Heat Project presents
Miguel Alvariño, Renata Rojo, Diana Garcia, Chad Cunha
Miami is a hotbed of transformative
and exceptional art, 365 days a year.
Wet Heat Project's HOTBED encourages and models within Miami's diversity of art students a strong and clear focus on making ideas work, making work accomplished, and engaging the viewer through purely ephemeral creations.
Each day of Art Basel Miami Beach, a graduating visual arts BFA student from New World School of the Arts will present an original, site-specific performative installation at the ArtSeen exhibit space in the heart of Miami's Wynwood arts district. These uniquely expressed and constructed artworks will be presented consecutively, each open to experience for one day only— a new performative installation every day.
HOTBED Miami 2011 is listed in the official
Art Basel Miami Beach VIP Program Guide.
